How to make a smashing batch of spätzle

It's so terribly simple:

500g flour (4 cups will work if you don't have a scale)
5 eggs
~200ml milk or water

Squeeze the dough through a Spätzle Schwob (which looks exactly like an oversized garlic press) into pot of boiling water and let each pressload boil for 1 minute.

Remove each load from the pot and place it into cold water for one minute. This is called abschrecken.

Repeat this procedure until you run out of dough. Then you're done!

Pan-fry or even microwave with molten cheese or awesome sauce. Put on your Lederhosen and serve.
